My phone doesn't show up.

Check that USB debugging is on, that the cable carries data, and that you tapped Allow on the phone. Try another USB port, and unlock the phone.

It says "Allow this PC".

Look at your phone: it's asking whether to trust this PC. Tap Allow.

Linecast couldn't install its phone app (Xiaomi, Redmi, POCO).

Turn on Install via USB in Developer options, then press Start stream again.

No sound.

In Phone app mode, Android asks once to share the screen with audio; choose "Entire screen". Some apps (banking, some streaming apps) block capture of their sound and picture.

Phone app or No app?

Phone app mode works on every phone and asks "Start now" on the phone each time. No app mode (Premium) needs nothing on the phone and can bring teammates' voice to the PC.

Can I use it over Wi-Fi?

Yes, if wireless debugging is on: turn on Use Wi-Fi in Linecast's Settings. A cable gives the lowest delay.

How do I update?

Linecast checks for updates by itself and asks you to restart when one is ready.
